TRADITIONAL BAYPOINT TAILGATE

It was a lively evening at National Headquarters –  Baypoint Kennels.  The smoker was cooking as you entered the building roasting chickens.  There was a fire pit  for the attendees to gather around and the air was full with laughter.  Inside Headquarters people eagerly bought their tickets to enter into the silent auction prizes, along with the 50-50 draw and door prize of a basket of local goodies – won by Carrie Whenham.  Music was playing while everyone visited and talked about the weeks festivities and tests thus far.

Dinner was roast chicken, fish and chips, variety of salads and for desert, fresh peaches from Dan and Gloria’s trees, pumpkin pie, ice cream. Dinner was followed by a Happy Birthday song to Susan Rehder Helberg.  Susan and Carl Clark made the drive to the national to volunteer as a thrower.

After the dinner was done, the raffle items were drawn while giving thanks to all of the donators.  Half of the silent auction items were announced with the other half being announced on Saturday to allow for more opportunity for bidding.

Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers for once again, providing an amazing meal for all of the National attendees.
